Taking down your thoughts

When you get an idea, write it down. A problem that I had a lot when blogging was taking down an idea right when it comes down. My best ideas for writing come when Im out and about and not at home when Im thinking about what to write at home. Ideas come and go so quickly and you need to be ready to take them down.

Taking your ideas down can be as simple as putting it down on a piece of scrap paper to remind you to come back to it. Also, if you have a smart phone, you can use the notes application to take them down.

After you come home and have time, you need to turn your ideas into leads for you to write from. Going onto your blog, start a new article for each idea that you had throughout the day. You don't need to write the article now but that will at least give you something to write about when you are stuck trying to find a topic. If you can find 1 or 2 new topics a day that will easily keep you going because you only need at most an article every day to keep readers interested and coming back.
If you keep this up for a while,  it will really give you a secure foot on your blog and future. Having this stock of topics to write about will help keep consistency of your posting even when you have a loss for ideas.
